How it works
- Pick your files.Take a photo of each page, or pick photos you already have.
- Your phone does the work.Check the corners: they are found for you, and you can drag them.
- Save the result.Make the PDF: pages are straightened and cleaned up.
A scanner in your pocket
Lay the page on a darker surface, like a table, and take a photo from above. The edges of the paper are found for you. If they are a little off, drag the corners into place. When you make the PDF, each page is straightened as if it had been scanned flat, and shadows and yellow light are evened out to white paper.
Pick a look
- Document: crisp dark text on white. Best for letters, forms and receipts.
- Color: whitened paper that keeps stamps, logos and signatures in color.
- Black and white: pure black and white, the smallest file, good for faxes and printing.
- Original: just straightened, with the photo’s own colors.
Good to know
- Take each photo in good, even light, with the whole page in the frame.
- Add more pages with the camera button, and put them in order with the arrows.
- Want to search the text or copy it? Run the PDF through OCR PDF.
Questions
Is anything uploaded?
No. Your photos never leave your phone: finding the page, straightening it and making the PDF all happen in your browser, even in airplane mode. That matters for IDs, bank letters and medical forms.
Why weren’t the edges found?
Edges are found where bright paper meets a darker background. On a white desk, or with the page filling the whole photo, drag the corners yourself, or tap “Use the whole photo”.
What size are the pages?
A4 by default. Pick Letter for the US and Canada, or “Same as photo” to make each page the shape of the paper.
