How it works

  1. Pick your files.Pick one or more Word files (.docx).
  2. Your phone does the work.Your phone lays the text, tables and pictures out on pages.
  3. Save the result.Save the PDF to Files or your Downloads.

When you don’t have Word to hand

A job application wants a PDF, and your CV is a .docx in an email. Pick it here and get a PDF back, right on your phone. The page size and margins come from the document itself, so an A4 letter stays A4 and a US Letter stays Letter.

  • Headings, paragraphs, bold, italics and underlines.
  • Bullet and numbered lists, including lists inside lists.
  • Tables, with their rows kept together across pages.
  • Pictures, and links you can still tap in the PDF.
  • Latin, Cyrillic, Greek, Vietnamese, Chinese, Japanese and Korean text, in Noto fonts.

Best for text documents

CVs, letters, reports and essays come out clean. A PDF from Word itself will look closer for documents built on text boxes, columns, headers and footers, shapes or special fonts: those aren’t recreated here.

Old .doc files need saving as .docx first, in Word, Pages or Google Docs.

Questions

Will the PDF look exactly like my Word document?

The words, headings, lists, tables and pictures are all there, on the same page size. Fonts are replaced with Noto, and text boxes, columns and headers or footers are not kept, so long documents can break onto pages a little differently.

Can I convert several documents at once?

Yes. Pick them together and each one becomes its own PDF.

Does it work with Google Docs or Pages files?

Download or export them as Word (.docx) first, then pick that file here.

Are my files uploaded?

No. The conversion happens in your browser. Load this page, turn on airplane mode, and it still works.
