Add page numbers to a PDF

Number your pages, where and how you like. Nothing uploaded.

Nothing uploaded. Try it in airplane mode.

How it works

  1. Pick your files.Pick one or more PDFs.
  2. Your phone does the work.Choose where the numbers go and how they look.
  3. Save the result.Save the numbered PDF.

Your choice of style

Pick a spot on the grid (bottom centre is the classic), then a style: 1, 1 / 9, Page 1 or Page 1 of 9. Change the size, start from a different number, or skip the cover page.

To number only part of a document, type the pages, for example 3- to start numbering on page 3. Numbers follow each page’s direction, so sideways pages get upright numbers too.

Questions

Can I start at a number other than 1?

Yes. Set Start at to any number, for example when your PDF continues another document.

Will the numbers cover my text?

They sit in the page margin. If your document has very narrow margins, try a corner or a smaller size.

Are my files uploaded?

No. Numbers are added in your browser, and it works in airplane mode.
