Fill PDF form
Type your answers into the form’s own boxes, then save. Nothing uploaded.
Fill in the form’s own fields, then save. Leave “Lock” off if someone else still needs to edit the form.
Turn any PDF into a form people can fill in. Tap Find fields to put a field on every box, line and blank we can spot, then check them: tap a field to rename or delete it, drag to move it, and use its corner to resize it. Add more with Text field or Checkbox: drag to draw a field, or tap to place one.
How it works
- Pick your files.Pick a PDF form.
- Your phone does the work.Fill in the fields, listed page by page.
- Save the result.Save the filled PDF, locked if you like.
Forms made easy on a phone
Zooming in on a tiny box in a PDF and trying to tap into it is no fun. Here, every field in the form is listed as a normal box you can type into, page by page and top to bottom. Checkboxes become switches and choices become lists.
When you save, your answers are written into the form itself, so they show up in any PDF app, and the form still works for whoever opens it next.
Lock the answers
Turn on “Lock the answers” before saving and the fields become ordinary text on the page. Nobody can change them, and they print exactly as you see them. Leave it off if someone else still has to fill in their part.
Make any PDF fillable
A form that came as a plain PDF or a scan has no boxes to type into. Switch to “Add fields” and tap Find fields: empty boxes, table cells, lines to write on, runs of underscores and checkbox squares each get a field, named after the label next to it. Check them, rename or move any that need it, add your own with a drag or a tap, and save a fillable PDF that works in any PDF app.
Good to know
- Finding fields works best on clean forms. On a crowded page, a few may be missed or land where nothing goes: check each page before saving.
- Some government forms are XFA forms, an older kind only Adobe Reader can fill. You’ll be told if yours is one.
- Need to sign too? Fill in the form, then open the result in Sign PDF.
Questions
Why does it say my PDF has no fields?
The form is just a picture or plain text, with no boxes built in. We look for places to fill in and add fields there for you. Save the fillable PDF, then open it again to fill it in. Or type anywhere on the page with Edit PDF.
Can I fill the form again later?
Yes, as long as you didn’t lock the answers. Pick the saved file and your answers are already in the boxes.
Are my answers uploaded?
No. The form is filled in your browser, and it works in airplane mode. That matters for tax, medical and visa forms full of personal details.
