PDF to Excel

Turn PDF tables into a spreadsheet. Nothing uploaded.

Nothing uploaded. Try it in airplane mode.

How it works

  1. Pick your files.Pick one or more PDFs.
  2. Your phone does the work.Your phone lines the text up into rows and columns.
  3. Save the result.Save the Excel file and open it in Excel, Numbers or Google Sheets.

How the columns are found

Each line of the PDF becomes a row. Text that lines up down the page, like the columns of a bank statement or an invoice, goes into the same column. Numbers such as 1,250.00 or (45.10) become real numbers you can add up.

Every page gets its own sheet. Turn on All pages on one sheet for long statements, so you can sort and total everything at once.

Works best on

  • PDFs exported from a spreadsheet or accounting software.
  • Bank and card statements, price lists, timetables and invoices with clear columns.

Text that wraps onto two lines inside one table cell becomes two rows, and scanned pages are read with OCR first, which works for simple tables but can merge columns on dense ones. For the full text of a document, use PDF to Word.

Questions

Are numbers kept as numbers?

Yes. Plain numbers, numbers with thousands separators and negatives in brackets become numbers. Amounts with a currency sign stay as text so nothing is guessed wrong.

Does it work on scanned statements?

Yes, scanned pages are read with OCR on your device. Check the numbers: OCR can misread a digit or merge two columns on a busy statement.

Can I get everything on one sheet?

Yes. Turn on All pages on one sheet before you convert.

Are my files uploaded?

No. It all happens in your browser, and it works in airplane mode.
